merthyr vale colliery and underground minning scene

this backpiece took approx 35hrs to complete. a 6hr sitting to start it and the whole piece got completed over 1 year. it consists of merthyr vale colliery on the top. in the centre we separated the top from the bottom with the text "end of an era".
the bottom of the piece shows the miners coming out of the colliery.
